Hola Everyone

So it's been yet another long while...

ahhhh so my entire family (thomas, me and the kids) have been down with some sort of flu/cold bug - i like to call it bronchflutis!

well let's see - mariah is doing well. growing more and more everyday as kids do i guess. every couple of days she seems to say something else that blows me away. i can't believe how she talks so grown up now.

Jimi is 1 year old now (3/5/07) - WOW! it's gone by toooooo fast. I can't believe it's already been a year since that scary freakin' day!

Thomas & I (i think) have decided on having at least one more. Though we seem to change our minds every other day and especially a lot more lately with how much bronchflutis has got us all down.

We finally decided on a little family vacation we're going to be taking next month. We're going to California. I know it's small cookies compared to where some people have been (ahhheeemmm thomas) - but I am very, very excited! I've never even been out of Oregon/Washington so it's going to be a blast! We're will be staying in San Francisco but sight seeing all over the bay area including Thomas's favorite, Santa Cruz! It will be sooo much fun.

Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi to all of my blog followers! Love ya all!

Hola All,
I was just sitting here eating my cinna twists from Taco Bell - yummy! The day is going by very slow & theres probably a LOT I could be doing but theres some weird voice in my head saying... "NO, NOOOOOOO I DON'T WANT TO" No worries though, thankfully the boss's can't here them! Lol, JK! Anywho, I was bored & thought I might add some more cute little pics here...

This was a week or so ago - They had to come to work with me because all the kids (including mine) I believe got their new daycare provider sick! Silly germ infested kids! :)

Doin Good

Hi all, just wanted to check in & say hola.



We are all doing well. MariaH & Jimi both have a little cold. I suspect it's from them starting their new daycare a couple weeks ago. MariaH hasn't been around other kids except for family in over 4 months & the same goes for Lil Jimi - aside from his being in the NICU with a bunch of other babies but that's a low germ place so... I think it's just the new enviroment & all the new kids.



Their daycare is awesome. MariaH absolutely loves it there & I'm pretty sure baby Jimi does too. MariaH even cries sometimes when we pick her up, which is a very good sign but sometimes Tom & I get our little feelers hurt when she never wants to be at home with us. At home there's no other kids her age to play with. I mean, we do the best we can with what little time we have & she plays with Jimi a little bit but she gets bored pretty fast probably because he can't really play back with her. Hahahaha, Boy is she in for a rude awakening. When Jimi learns to walk & talk & terrorize his big sister, she's gonna wish she could go elsewhere even more!



We've been looking for another place to live. We love our townhouse but things just keep falling apart there. Ever since we moved in it's been just one thing after another. You wouldn't think it when you walk into our home (like when we viewed it to move into in the first place) but things like the trim in the kitchen, the handle came off the "new" microwave, MariaH's toilet has gone from super hard to flush - so hard I can barely flush it to now it's completely stopped working, 2/3 bathroom vents don't work anymore, the laundry room door FELL off, one of the front panels of a drawer in the kitchen came off, the first 4 months we lived there the dishwasher didn't work, and a water pipe in the garage busted in early January. Dispite our attempts to get our landlord to fix it, it has been sitting there for almost 9 months now still broken. We can't wash our cars & all summer long MariaH was not able to play in the water outside. Geez, I could on & on, any way, yea we have been looking for another place to call home. We went to view an actualy house for rent today - it's just perfect & just what we were looking for. I talked to the manager about the problems we are having now & made sure he understands we DO NOT want to be out in this same situation again! We would like to live somewhere for at least another 3-5 years to save for a nice chunck of money to use as a down payment on a house. And I hate moving!

Another Long While

Hey Guys,

So I didn't realize it's been so long. In the last month and a half things have really changed around my house.

Mariah hit her jealousy stage 3-4 weeks ago. She went through extreme whinyness (spl?) and back talking and all kinds of fun stuff. She has been slowing getting better so we're hoping it's almost over, for now. Other than that - she's doing well. We took them to meet their new babysitter & Mariah opened up very well. I am thankful for that cuz I thought it was gonna be a lot harder than it was to get her used to it. She started playing with the other kids just a few minutes after we got there. Which brings me to another thing, she has really started opening up all around. I mean don't get me wrong she still very much has her moments but for example the other day we were standing in the line at the store and this guy said hi to her. She smiled and said hi right back... no shying away at all! It actually kind of scares me because I have never really worried about stranger danger with her & now I am thinking I need to put a rush on informing her all about it!!! Still she's such an awesome little girl - I don't know where I'd be without - and I mean that very literally!

Jimi is growing like a weed! I recently had to put away almost half his entire wardrobe - thankfully I have tons of 6m+ clothes from my baby shower to start dressing him in. He talks all the time, grasps things, holds his feet, eats rice cereal & has tried a few different baby foods. He's gone bald on top although it's been slowing down recently and even starting to grow in a little now. He's a fat boy! He weighs in at over 14lbs now, I'm guessing... 6 weeks ago he was 13.4 so I'm pretty sure with all the added foods he is over 14lbs. He smiles all the time & even laughs an oh so freakin' cute little baby laugh!!!

We went camping for 9 days in mid July & it was a blast! Except, camping with a baby isn't easy! I am looking forward to next year... besides the running after Jimi constantly - lol I am looking forward to when they are grown and can do there own things when I wanna be lazy again! lol! Just kidding... 50%! :)

Thomas & I are fine. a little sleepy maybe. Tired. EXHAUSTED! But still doing good... I love em all! Here's some pics!
